AP American History Project, Below are 8 selections with titles, URLs, and questions. You are responsible for reading and answering questions on five selections. Three of the selections are required. They are: "To Live Like a Slave", "Pocahontas", and "Common Mayflower Myths". You may choose your next two selections from any of the remaining titles based on what you find interesting. All work is due on the first day you return to school. After the first three required articles, there is no particular order for the remaining titles.

Question: 1. On a separate sheet of paper, using two columns, on the firs column list the facts you already knew about Jamestown, and on the second column, list the facts you learned about Jamestown after reading the article.
Questions: 1. Describe the plight of Mary and Ellen More? 2. Why was Desire Minter on the Mayflower? 3. In general, how did the girls (women) fair on the trip on the Mayflower from England to America.
Questions: 1. How did Squanto learn to speak English? 2. What act of fate returned Squanto to America for the second time? 3. What had happened to Squanto's tribe (the Patuxet) upon his return to America? 4. What was Squanto's role with the Pilgrims? 5. How did Squanto abuse his role with the Pilgrims?
